I found it relatively easy to adapt to life in America, largely due to the remarkable similarities between America and Nepal when it comes to the abundant food options and their quality. However, there's an intriguing distinction between how these two countries approach their cuisines. In America, the culinary landscape is marked by diversity and innovation, with a willingness to blend and "Americanize" various cuisines to create unique culinary experiences. This fusion of flavors and cultures is emblematic of the multicultural nature of American society. 

In contrast, Nepal maintains a deep-rooted tradition of preserving the authenticity of its cuisine. Nepalese chefs and cooks are adept at replicating international dishes without adding their own twists. While the occasional fusion dish can be found in Nepal, there is a prevailing respect for one's own culture and food, which discourages interferences. Nevertheless, Nepal also embraces culinary diversity, as demonstrated by establishments like "The Yellow House" in Sanepa, Lalitpur. This eatery excels in replicating a wide range of global cuisines, catering to diverse dietary preferences, including vegan, gluten-free, and vegetarian options. It showcases Nepal's openness to introducing new culinary experiences to its citizens.
